Connor quickly noticed the looks Dmitri was shooting James; it was clear he wanted to talk to James but not in Connor's presence. He kissed James before murmuring, “I'll make the coffee.” But curiosity had him pausing just outside.

“I can deal with it for you, my friend.”

James didn't answer immediately and Connor quickly ducked into the kitchen just before he would have been caught listening. He waited before creeping back out again, just in time to hear James refuse.

“I can make it appear to have been from flu.” Dmitri sighed, “Your boyfriend would never know.”

“I would.”

But Connor would know and that's what Lester is worried about and also because he just isn't a stone-cold killer. He'll deal with it in a way he sees fit. Well done.
