He watched as the minister leaned back in his chair and pursed his lips thoughtfully. “You think the situation is that bad?”
“Yes, I'm afraid I do.” He shook his head in mock concern but the minister was too stupid to realise. “I think the responsibility has got to him. I understand he's increased security without reason.”
“Hmmm.” The minister sighed. “I must admit I have been concerned.”
He bit back a smile. “I think a sabbatical would be good for him.”
The minister nodded. “I'll consider it. Thank you for bring this to my attention, Mr Burton.”
“My pleasure.”
