A/N: For the P100 challenge 346: 'Twas The Night Before Christmas. Part 37 of my Strange Bedfellows drabble series. *eyes muse beadily* Um... don't ask ;) Thanks go to Fred for casting her eye over it for me.


Lyle couldn't sit still and kept shooting Lester glances as they waited.

“Problem, Jon?”

“No.” Lyle sighed when Lester just looked at him. “I just... how can we do this?”

“Are you saying you can't do this?”

“Course not. But... how can we knock out Santa on Christmas Eve?” Lyle shut up when he realised he was whining and Lester was looking long-suffering again.

“We're not.” Lester stopped before shrugging, showing Lyle he wasn't really comfortable with the plan. “We're just... borrowing a reindeer or two.”

“I'm pretty sure stealing puts us on the naughty list.”

“We'll give them back.”
