A/N: For the P100 challenge 343: Exit Strategy. Part 34 of my Strange Bedfellows drabble series and continues from What Was Foretold. Thanks for Fred for casting her eye over this for me.


Lyle grabbed Lester's arm as he walked over to the witch and hissed, “What the hell are you doing, James?”

“What I do best, dear boy, making a deal to get us out of this situation.” Lester quirked an eyebrow at Lyle. “You have heard of an exit strategy?”

“With her?”

“Yes, Jon. With her.” Lester smiled as he extracted his arm from Lyle's grip. “A word, if I may, madam.”

Lyle muttered something under his breath before spinning Lester back around and kissing him.

Lester blinked at him as he almost absentmindedly licked his lips. “Jon?”

“Just... good luck.”

Lyle's got to be worried if Lester's about to talk to a witch, but you're right, if anyone can get them out of it, it is Lester. Glad you liked the kiss.
