Title: Things Just Got Worse
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, (Jon Lyle (OC) and clone)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 340: Fireworks. Part 31 of my Strange Bedfellows drabble series and continues from Never A Fan Of Halloween. Thanks to Fred for looking it over for me.
Lester watched as the – he supposed witch – flung out her arm and sparks flew from her fingers... heading directly for them. He dived out of the way, checking that both Lyle and the clone where clear, before turning his attention back to the anomaly as the sparks landed in front of it. The ground began to glow before a fountain of bright light exploded to bar their way.
Lester turned to look at the witch as she cackled once more, watching as more sparks flew and he cursed as they streaked towards them once more.
Things had just got worse.

Date: 2013-11-09 02:05 pm (UTC)I was really hoping Lyle had a firework concealed in an unlikely location.
Nice use of the prompt though.
