Connor chewed the end of his pen as he stared at the blank sheet of paper in front of him. He'd been trying to write the perfect vows for the last several hours, ones that announced to the world just how much marrying James meant. So far, all he had for his effects was a nearly overflowing bin.

“OK, Connor?”

“This is harder than I realised.” Connor looked up at his lover and soon-to-be husband. “I want it to be perfect, James.”

“It will be, love.” James smiled and leaned over to kiss him. “Just write from your heart, Connor.”
