Lyle glared at his captors, he might not have escaped – yet – but if Helen thought he'd give up that easily, she'd have another think coming. Bloody hell, he shouldn't have let James talk him into leaving the camp with her, although James had been very persuasive.

Fuck! Where was James? Was he OK?

Lyle took a deep, calming breath. He knew James would be fine, Helen wanted something from him and she'd use Lyle to try and get it.

Lyle eyed the door once more, remembering what his mother used to say to him. If at first you don't succeed.
