To find out James harboured the same self-doubts as Connor did about being left was... well, shocking to say the least. James had always been what Connor thought of when people referred to a magnetic personality. He could gain the attention of a room merely by entering it, swaying people to his side and point-of-view through his command of language and people-skills.

He'd never thought to make the effort to reassure James, he'd never realised he needed too. Maybe he owed Burton something for making him aware of James' fears, but... fuck, he wished the bastard would leave them alone.

*nods* The boys certainly aren't going to trust anything to do with Burton. Definitely, Connor will reassure James and together they will be stronger.
