Title: Opening Move
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Helen Cutter, Clones
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 329: "I Can't See Anything”. Part 18 of my Strange Bedfellows drabble series and follows Kindred Spirits. Thanks go to Fred for looking this over for me.
James hadn't been happy when the door to his room had been opened and two men – twins by the look of them and built like brick shithouses – half-dragged, half-carried him to Helen. Which was how he found himself sitting at a table as Helen tried to convince him to join her.
He sighed. “Nothing you've said will convince me to help you, Helen.”
Helen smiled as she leaned forward. “We'll see.” She turned to her ever present men, “Take him back.”
James couldn't resist and saw little point of trying, not until Helen added, “Think about poor Jon.”

Date: 2013-09-18 09:20 am (UTC)Eek! It didn't take long for Helen's true colours to start coming through. :(
(Hee, but because I am playing catch-up I don't have to wait a week to find out what happens next! )
