A/N: For the P100 challenge 299: Bruises. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and continues from Cold Reception.
Definition used:- to hurt someone's feelings.

Matt sighed. Bloody hell, this was a mess. Connor was hurting, Matt understood that, if Becks had done what Lester had done to him, he would've been furious. But Matt also understood why Lester had and he could see how hurt he was by the rejection he experienced.

As for bloody Burton...

Matt had wondered if he should speak to them, but when he'd mentioned it to Becks, his husband had firmly told him to leave it be. That it was up to Lester and Connor to sort out their relationship, all they could do was be there for them.

That's a great look at things from Matt's perspective. I really like how he tries to understand both of them. I suppose Becker's advice is likely for the best, but the boys might need someone to step in if they don't straighten themselves out!

Yay for married Matt and Becker.

I think an outsider can see both points of view but Becker's advice is wise. Both James and Connor mightn't welcome being talked to.
