Title: Well-Received Gift
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester/Nick Cutter
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For mayakitten and her prompt: Lester/Cutter and amethyst. Hope you like it.
James' eyebrow quirked when he noticed the small, but tastefully wrapped gift beside his freshly-brewed coffee. He hadn't expected another present, after all, Nick had already booked a meal at one of James' favourite restaurant.
“I hope you like it.”
Nick's voice held more than a hint of concern and James bit back his automatic response that of course he would. He carefully opened the gift and smiled when a pair of amethyst cufflinks were revealed. “They're perfect. I'll wear them tonight.” He waggled his eyebrows at Nick. “And then I'll wear just the shirt when I ride you later.”
