Primeval drabble: Resolution
Title: Resolution
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 294: Christmas Carol. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and continues from Thoughts On Christmas. Thanks to Fred for looking at it for me, *hugs*
James felt like bloody Scrooge for ruining Connor's Christmas and could easily imagine his lover's devastated face when he woke up alone on Christmas morning. But the thought of the terror on his face if Burton got his hands on him haunted James' dreams.
He found himself pacing agitatedly across the room, weighing the pros and cons of continuing his absence or going to Connor and ending his misery. He sighed, no matter how much he believe what he was doing was right, James just couldn't stand the pain he was causing Connor.
James knew what he had to do.
