Primeval drabble: Thoughts On Christmas

A/N: For the P100 challenge 293: Picture Prompt. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and follows on from To Protect Connor. Angsty. Thanks go to Fred for looking it over for me, *hugs*.



Lester sighed at the advert for the perfect Christmas, forcibly reminded of the recent festive disasters – from the icy atmosphere of his last with his ex, to the miserable ones spent alone and the near disaster last year when he'd almost ruined the first one with Connor.

Yet here he was, ruining yet another one. Was what he'd planned really worth doing that? Was stopping Burton really more important than Connor's happiness?

Lester knew it wasn't, but would Connor be safe if he returned? Lester didn't know, but he did know Christmas was a time to be those you loved.
