Becker carefully approached the last of the creatures – something gobbledygook according to Connor. Becker's arms were spread wide as he slowly coaxed it back towards the anomaly until it startled, letting out a shrill cry of distress as a ring tone filled the air. Becker dived on it as it darted for safety, holding on tight as he lay in the mud.
Once Matt helped send it home, he grinned at his muddy partner before sobering at Becker's glare.
“Sorry guys.” Not that Connor's grin said he was sorry. “That was Duncan. He thinks he's found him. He's found James!”
