Abby groaned when Connor played the same song over and over again, although Rex seemed to be enjoying it. She knew Connor was missing his... James, but she couldn't imagine him liking this song.

“Con?” When Connor looked up at her with overly-bright eyes, she added, “What's wrong?”

“I know James is the one for me, Abs, but I was so scared of getting hurt I pushed him away before he could dump me.” He sniffed, blinking back tears. “And now I've lost him.”

“No you haven't, Con.” Abby pulled him into her arms. “We'll find him, I promise you.”
