Primeval drabble: Thoughts On A Future Predator
Title: Thoughts On A Future Predator
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Dave
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 286: Fossils. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series and follows on from Frustrated. Thanks go to Fred for looking it over, cheers m'dear.
James found himself wondering about his sanity as he watched the future predator gouge the earth in frustration. He was lying helpless in front of a savage killer with only a dubious control clamp keeping it at bay, surrounded by a jungle full of hungry creatures, and the only thing he found himself thinking about was how much trouble the future predator would cause if it turned up in the fossil record.
Bloody hell, maybe he was hurt worse than he'd thought – but then again, considering he couldn't crawl, let alone stand up – maybe that wasn't a surprise.

I'd much rather think that it's simply because he's been infected with Cutter's ideas *g*
Please to fix soon? *puppy eyes*

Hee, he's probably had Nick bending his ear enough on the subject for it to have sunk in, no matter what he tells himself and Nick ;)

Eeeep. I like Lester's thought processes here. And the controller of the clamp must be around somewhere...
