It took all of Connor's control not to launch himself at Philip when the man disparaged James. How dare he tell Connor he was better off without him, that James was just using him and had discarded him for another?

Connor knew better, James hadn't left him, he'd been kidnapped and Philip was to blame. Oh, Ethan might have done it, but Connor knew Philip had been behind it.

Connor would have to bide his time, but he would bring Philip down if it was the last thing he did. If Philip thought differently, it would make Connor's task easier.
