Connor took a deep breath as he parked up outside Prospero. He could do this. He had to, James was depending on him.
He knew Philip thought he held all the cards. That he, Connor, was too weak and vulnerable now James was... Connor swallowed. No, he knew James was still alive, he just knew it.
No matter how little Philip thought of him, Connor would prove himself the better man. He would be victorious and then, Connor was absolutely convinced, he would celebrate with James.
Connor nodded, James would be so proud of him and they'd celebrate all night.
