Title: Collateral Damage
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Stephanie Lester (OC)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 277: Collateral Damage. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series and follows Another Chance. Probably angsty. Thanks go to Fred for looking them over for me, cheers m'dear. *hugs*
Stephanie had never been religious, but now she found herself praying.
That this clinical trial was a success and she was finally cured.
That James would finally be able to rest, instead of being up half the night hunting down cures and exhausting himself.
That their sons would grow up with a mother; secure that she'd be there to support them.
In truth, that was the thing she hated most about cancer. Not what it did to her, but what it did to her family. No one saw the harm it caused them for all attention was focused on her.
