Title: Unforeseen
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Matt Anderson
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 276: Unexpected. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and continues after He Just Had To Try Harder. Thanks go to Fred for the beta, cheers.
Watching Connor, Matt found it a surprise that whoever had trapped them at the ARC hadn't considered Connor's ability to break through lockdown.
But then, Connor wasn't supposed to have been at the ARC. He'd told Burton that he had left, even though he had stopped to chat to Abby on the way out. He hadn't wanted Burton to find out and that lie seemed to be the only thing that had saved them.
It was obvious to Matt that Burton was behind the lockdown... the only surprise was that Burton hadn't anticipating Connor being late or lying about it.
