Stephanie was still sitting at the table when James returned from the school run. She was staring at a letter with tears running down her face and James feared the worst. “Steff?”

She looked up, smiling. “I've been accepted on a trial, James.” She shook her head. “I thought they'd turned me down but it says here it was a clerical error.”

James quickly scanned the letter, smiling as he realised they'd been given another chance

Something niggled as he read the name of the company. Prospero? Where had he heard that before? Not that it mattered, only Stephanie did.
