Title: Plan B
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 273: Lockdown. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series. Thanks to Fred for the beta, cheers m'dear.
James checked his climbing rig before nodding to Toby and abseiling down the cliff. Reaching the bottom, he hit the quick release and silently crept towards the target.
He cursed as gunfire echoed from the cliff-top and loud alarms sounded throughout the installation. The target was going into lockdown and that would make his mission almost impossible.
James knew Toby would proceed with Plan B and it was now James' decision how to proceed. He could use Toby's distraction to escape or to continue the mission. He sighed. If they didn't succeed this time, there wouldn't be a second chance.
