James sometimes wondered when his life had become one lie after another.

He'd lied to Steff about his job, never mentioning the blood on his hands.

When he took charge of the anomaly project, he'd lied about what they did and promised to be home more.

He was still lying now. To the public about the anomalies and creatures. To his people, pretending everything was fine when he was breaking inside.

He'd lied for so long, James wasn't sure he even knew what the truth was any more.

So it was almost a relief when Abby finally made him stop.

Abby 'made' him talk - about some things anyway ;) It probably ties in with Walls of Jericho? (maybe). More will be coming - this series is almost 18 months old and still going strong.
