Just when I'd figured out how to post from scrapbook, LJ changes it!

Good to know it is now readable and you're welcome.

*nods* I know, why did LJ change the scrapbook. It is perfectly readable on my laptop and goes blury when I add it to the scrapbook.

Glad you could read it and you're welcome.

Is this the mag that used to be "Dreamwatch Bulletin"? and before that was "Doctor Who Bulletin"? because boy, things have changed in since the old black & white "John Nathan-Turner Must Go!" days!

Now the ex-magazine that used to be DWB, yes. It disappeared off the scene a few years back, which is a shame, because it was pretty good. No idea what happened - I'm assuming sales dropped or something. TV Zone went the same way, too, and Cult Times, I think.

It was a bit weird, DW and TV Zone/Cult Times/can't remember the company's other titles disappeared, but it isn't as if there wasn't a market out there and there are still mags out there now.

Yes, it was a bit odd that they suddenly disappeared after being fairly successful for some years. I suspect TV Zone and the others fell victim to a takeover of the group that owned them, and they were deemed unnecessary. Bit of a shame - I used to buy Dreamwatch and TV Zone quite often, especially as they tended to be more focused on British SF stuff.

Same here, hence why I have these magazines to post from. I think mine date back to at least 1994-5 ;) If not before.

I believe so. Hee, wasn't that when it was fan produced rather than 'professional'.

Thanks for posting some more of these! I've been meaning to, but things have been so hectic lately.

Enjoyed the article, and the dino timeline down the bottom of the pages was intriguing and fun

Glad you liked the article. DW was a great magazine.

Great interview, thanks for posting it. It's interesting seeing what he had to say about it so far back when series 1 was still new!

Thanks for sharing the article (even if the first page was a little difficult to read). It's interesting to read his thoughts about the show in the beginning.

No problem (*sighs* The old LJ scrapbook worked fine, this... grr. The scan is clear, why this isn't is another question).
