Primeval drabble: Seeking Access
Title: Seeking Access
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Philip Burton, April Leonard
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 270: Philip Burton. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series and follows on from Behind The Scenes. Thanks go to Fred for looking it over for me.
Philip glanced up from his work when April entered his office. “Anyone of interest at last night's soiree?”
“A few worth watching.” April leafed through the folder she was carrying. “There is one project in particular that you might find of interest.” When Philip leaned back in his chair and clasped his hands, she continued, “Its under Home Office control and apparently involves time travel.”
“Time travel? Interesting.” Philip leaned forward. “Can we gain access to it?”
April nodded. “Possibly. The director – one Sir James Lester – his wife has cancer.”
“Good.” Philip smiled. “Contact our medical research department.”
