Lester sighed softly as he strolled into the forest.
A long week spent caged between four walls as he listened to idiots had taken its toll.
As he took a deep breath, Lester felt the tension start to leave his body.
This was what made such terrible weeks bearable.
The freedom to run in the forest.
To just be the wolf: free to roam, to play, to hunt.
Not the man: tied to his desk, working, sitting in traffic, writing reports.
Lester smiled as he shifted.
And the dark wolf raised his head and howled his joy to the moon.

I love the idea of werewolf!Lester running around and playing for the sheer joy of it.

He's got an image to maintain as Lester, so the wolf gets to play and have fun. Though he might grin like your icon afterwards, at least until he has to be 'Lester'.

Make me think of all the faces we have, the ones we show our friends and family, the one reserved for a lover. and the one we keep to our self. Kind of like that old Billy Joel song "The Stranger" Maybe I'm over analyzing but thats what this reminds me of.

Thanks, it is sort of the idea I'm following. That the wolf lets Lester be someone else for a while.

I think Lester believes he can leave all the stress behind when he's the wolf - no more image to worry about.

A long week spent caged between four walls as he listened to idiots had taken its toll.
That would totally be his perspective on things!
