Title: Stolen His Heart
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 268: The Way To A (Wo)Man's Heart. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series and follows Sweet Dreams. Thanks go to Fred for the beta, cheers m'dear.
James stared at the child cradled in his arms. Even now, with their third child, he found it hard to believe he'd helped create this perfect life. He blinked back tears as he rocked his son, third and last.
He jiggled his son when he grizzled, not willing to wake Steff from her ordeal. For one thing, he had no wish to have an angry, exhausted Steff threatening him again.
No, that was a lie. He'd wanted to spend time alone with... ah, they hadn't decided on a name. Not that it matter, his son had already stolen his heart.
