Title: Needed To Know
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Connor Temple
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 267: Football. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and continues from To The Ends Of The Earth And Through Time And Space. Thanks go to Fred for looking at this for me.
A/N2: Definition of Football used:- US Govt Slang. A briefcase containing the codes and options the president would use to launch a nuclear attack, carried by a military aide and kept available to the president at all times.

No matter how sick he felt, Connor knew better than to openly question Philip. If he'd been involved, it would just warn him and give him time to move James.

No, it would be better – if so bloody hard – to observe and figure out what he needed to know.

Now, that briefcase April carried so tightly in her arms for Philip, that looked important. Connor smiled, just like the US President's arming codes. Not that Philip would have anything like that, but... Connor still wanted to look inside it.

It might hold the information he so desperately needed.

Great slant on things! The first and only time I'd come across that term was when I was flicking through one of the M Reilly Scarecrow books.

Glad that Connor is busy plotting!

It was about the only way I'd get football into the seris. I have no idea where I heard the term - and had to look it up and make sure it really existed ;)

*nods* Connor wants his James back.

Thanks for reading.
