Title: Self-Preservation
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Stephanie Lester (OC)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 265: Is It Meant To Look Like That? Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series. Thanks to the wonderful Fred for looking at it for me.
“James! You're just in time. What do you think?”
James paused as he looked at Steff's latest painting and, from her expression, her pride and joy.
He tilted his head as he considered it carefully. He knew what it looked like to him: Steff had thrown several tins of paint at the canvas, before she'd fallen on top of it and slipping over several times as she'd tried to stand up again.
What the hell was he supposed to say about it?
But he did know asking what the hell it was supposed to be would not go down well.
