A/N: For the P100 challenge 264: Don't Leave Me. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and continue from I'll Do Anything. Thanks to Fred for having a look at it for me.

I leaned against the wall and watched James shiver and shake one minute before burning with fever the next. It was obvious the drug was finally leaving his system and equally clear that it wasn't a pleasant experience for him.

James' voice was hoarse as he begged, “Connor? Stay, please, don't leave me.”

I snorted, I had been correct, the idiot really was in love with the boy. I smiled. Oh the possibilities that opened.

When James tried to rise, I had to grab him before he landed on the floor. He wrapped his arms around me and sobbed. “Connor?”
