A/N: For the P100 challenge 262: Intensive Care. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series and follows on from Pride And Prejudice. Um... my muse is a contrary thing and demanded this as soon as it saw the prompt. *bye* ;) Angsty. Thanks go to Fred for looking at it for me, cheers m'dear.


Connor's hand shook as he held the thin wire, moving it out of position on the circuit board. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He needed to concentrate, one mistake in the soldering and it would blow up in his face.

Just like his relationship with James had.

Connor was so confused. Abby kept telling him James had been kidnapped; Philip that he'd run off with that man Connor had seen him with.

Connor no longer knew who to believe. Instead he gave his full attention to the circuit board. At least, he could do that right.
