James staggered backwards as hands reached out for him, yelping as he collided with a wall. He grabbed onto it to stay upright and continue his escape.

“Damn it, James. You can't even walk. Just let me help you.” A sigh sounded. “You stubborn idiot, you really are in love.”

James smiled. Of course he loved Connor. He'd do anything for him.

“Really? That is interesting,” the annoyingly familiar voice responded. “Now, lean on me and we'll get out of here.” When James baulked, the voice added, “I promise I'll take you to Connor.”

James know he had little choice.
