“Please, James. I'll be fun.”

James' voice was full of disbelief. “Fun?”

“You enjoyed it last time.”

James gave a shiver. “Please don't remind me.”

Steff snorted. “See, that mock shiver just shows you're a good actor.”

James folded his arms, his voice firm. “I am not doing another play.”

“Not even if I agree to go caving with you next half-term?” Steff smiled as she leaned in closer, her breath caressing James' ear. “Sharing a tent, just you and me.”

James sighed softly. “That's not playing fair.”

Steff's eyebrow rose in shock. “James, really. I don't play fair?”
