Title: Could Today Get Any Worse?
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 254: Pteranodon. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series and follows Decisions. It isn't my fault, how could I resist doing this with this prompt? ;)
A/N2: Thanks go to Fred for the beta. Cheers, m'dear.
James swore as he spotted the flying creature Abby's cry had warned him about. Just what he needed when he was clinging to a cliff.
It plunged towards him, talons stretched wide. Digging into his flesh, tearing as it attempted to send him plummeting to the ground.
He heard Abby's yell before several rocks rained down, sending the creature screeching away.
James' shoulder throbbed with every breath he took. His arm now dangling uselessly by his side, he saw no choice now except to risk the jungle. Could today get any worse? A roar from below merely confirmed it could.
