Title: Decisions
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, OWC
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 252: Cliffhanger. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series and continues from Holding On Tight. Thanks to Fred for looking at it for me.
James paused to consider his options once the cub was safely in the bag attached to his waist. He didn't like either of them, not with his arm sending pain spiking along his nerves.
Up led to the plateau, to Abby and safety but the risk of slipping and plummeting down the cliff if his arm gave out.
Down would seem to be safer. He could make his way down in a controlled slide. Except that down there he would be alone and injured in a creature infested jungle at least eight days from the relative safety of the plateau.
