James woke with a gasp. He glanced around his room and sighed, he was still alone, maybe...

No! Connor wouldn't. It had just been Ethan messing with his mind... twisting words around to hurt him. James was sure Connor had an excellent reason for not being here with him... he just didn't know what it was.

James couldn't stop worrying though. Oh, he hadn't believed Ethan's assertion that Connor was interested in Becker, he had just been trying to hurt him as he had been hurt. But James knew Burton was interested in Connor, he wouldn't put anything past him.
