Ethan glared at Matt. He had seen the way Emily was with him, how she had forgotten Charlotte's death and how she had killed her. If only Ethan hadn't trusted her and just taken Charlotte to a modern era, he knew she would still be alive and with him. This man – Matt – had come to Emily's rescue once... and would pay for it. Ethan now knew just how to hurt Emily the most – how he had been hurt. All Ethan needed to do was tell Matt enough for him to follow him when he escaped. And then...
