“No!”
The cub looked up at the harsh tone of his father, still biting at the tasty meaty morsel he had discovered and could not resist.
“I said no! Bad cub!”
The cub whimpered, his tail between his legs. What had he done wrong? Why was his father angry with him?
His father grabbed the cub's prize and growled, “Let go.”
“What's he done?”
The cub looked hopefully at his mother, ducking his head at her sigh. He whined and pawed at his parents, begging for forgiveness for disappointing them.
“Go to bed.”
The cub obeyed, curling up in misery.
