James swallowed as he gazed at Stephanie's grave, the stone recently cleaned and fresh flowers laid upon it. He smiled as he remembered all the laughter and good times they had shared.

He took a deep shuddering breath, his tears threatened to fall as his mind turned to the pain of watching Steff fade before his eyes. Even though it hurt to remember those days, James forced himself to, he would not forget a single moment of their lives together.

James heard footsteps approached before his arm was squeezed.

Abby's voice was soft. “Come on, James. Time to go home.”
