James Lester smiled as he looked out over his new domain. He'd angled for this position, using all his contacts at the Home Office and his guile to secure it. Not that it was high profile in the slightest and James was hoping it would remain that way. He had no desire to work late every night and over the weekends. He wanted every moment he could with Steff.

He sighed softly as his eyes fell on Ms Brown's report and he couldn't help wondering when he'd rue his decision. His so-called scientific team was an accident waiting to happen.
