A/N: For the P100 challenge 225: Sleepless Nights. Part of my Dreams Of Yesterday drabble series. Thanks go to the wonderful Fred for looking at this for me.
Although it was past 3am and it was the second time he had been dragged from his warm, comfortable bed, James didn't care. His attention was fixed on the little bundle he cradled so carefully in his arms. Such perfection and he still had trouble believing he had help create this perfect child.
He jiggled William as he began to cry, softly singing a lullaby and watching his son drift asleep. He might have to get up for work in under three hours and spend the whole day yawning and drinking coffee, but he wouldn't change a single precious moment.
