A/N: For P100 prompt 964 – Ankylosaurus. Idk, the muse came up with this… maybe it thinks it is already Halloween?
A bloodied and half-starved Lester staggered through the first anomaly he found after the world had ended. He stopped and stared, hoping his mouth wasn’t hanging open in shock at the sight which greeted him.
He staggered slightly as a blond whirlwind leapt at him, gathering him in a hug. “We thought you died.”
“No, Ms Maitland, I was merely detained.” Lester glanced around again before turning to his ragtag team. “I leave you for six months and you turn into some sort of…” Lester trailed off, waving a hand.
“Flintstones?” Connor said.
“That would explain Becker and the Ankylosaurus.”
