Quinn glared as he watched the kids leave, the girl almost dragging the boy with her before his mouth got him arrested.
Both of them were sick murder tourists. Not understanding the pain… he shook his head.
He’d be watching out for them and when they returned – and he knew they would be back – their feet wouldn’t touch the ground if they trespassed in the old Brook house.
He bet it would be the mouthy boy, he was clearly out to impress the girl. It was equally clear that she wasn’t his girlfriend, even though he wanted her to be.
