James Lester had made his career out of making contingency plans – for every thing from zombies and alien invasion to the next pandemic and mass public disorder. He had hoped to never need any of them, but most especially this one.

The one where the ARC became public knowledge and the minister threw them to the wolves to save his own worthless hide.

They would be parade through the courts, pilloried in the media and the sentences would be harsh, if not fatal.

Except he had that plan and it was time to enact it. “Gabriel? Yes, he did… Excellent.”
