A/N: For P100 prompt 937 – "It's so fluffy!" Sequel to Christmas Bake Off: Anomaly Special, Baking Nightmare and More Baking Nightmares.
I looked up when the bell rang.
First to be judged was Quinn. Prue took a long sip of water before announcing. “Now, Mr Quinn, this has the consistency of a brick. You baked it at far too high a temperature.”
“I ran out of time,” Quinn muttered.
Temple’s cake was approached with caution, although not enough as Prue ended up coughing and drinking a whole glass of milk before gasping, “Chilli isn’t normally an ingredient.”
My turn was next and Prue carefully took a small bite before another as she declared, “Oh my, it’s so fluffy! And absolutely delicious.”
