After a long day Lester was looking forward to a quiet night and a brandy.
A sound stopped him... he couldn't just leave now, it could be anyone... or anything.
He sighed on finding Connor, clearly living at the ARC. Clearly with nowhere else to go.
There were so many reasons not to offer Connor somewhere to stay and one very good reason to do so.
He remembered far too well being on the streets and the kindness when someone took him in. He could do no less, no matter the cost. Or the pests.
Lester stepped into the room.
