“I have one question, my little Snowshoe hare, what ever made you think this was a good idea?”
“Because it is good for you, dearest Ptarmigan.”
“Ptarmigan? I thought we were doing Arctic mammals?”
“Are we? I thought we agreed on any Arctic animals.”
“Hmm. I suppose we could widen it to any Arctic animal. Although, that still doesn’t explain why you thought this was a good idea, my little Puffin.”
“It’s traditional. We have a sauna and then we have a cold water dip.”
“In a bloody frozen lake!”
“And? Last one in makes breakfast.”
“Not so fast, Jon.”
