Lester stared at the thirty foot Christmas tree. “Please remind me why I agreed to this… this travesty.”


Lyle just grinned knowingly at him.


Nick looked between them before blushing and hurrying off, rolling his r’s with a vengeance.


Connor looked confused before Abby dragged him away, a hand firmly over his mouth, although his muffled “But I want to know,” was heard before his somewhat more audible cry of “Oh!”


Lester raised an eyebrow before asking, sotto voce, "Do I want to know what rumours you've been spreading?"


“Probably not,” Lyle drawled before drawing Lester in for a kiss.
