She'd tried everything.

Changing events here and there.

Making sure the right individual got the job. Unfortunately, none of them stayed the right one and she had to change events.

Again and again.

Nothing worked and so she moved further back from the disaster.

Back and back but the end still came.

Until there was only one choice left.

She found her way to the Pliocene.

She obtained a sample of DNA.

She paid for the poison. Harmless to anything unless it shared that DNA.

Now all she had to do was wait.

And soon humanity couldn't cause the disaster.
