A/N: For P100 prompt 890 - The Birth of Civilisation. A bit of a side swipe. Idk.
Sarah had to keep moving. Had to find a way home before the Predators found her again.
A sparkle in the gloom drew her forward as much as any creature. She had to hurry before it did.
She stumbled through into blazing sunshine. Falling to the sands as her knees gave way.
A shadow fell over her.
She gasped as a Dja pierced the Predator's chest. Then another.
Sarah stared at the bowing soldier. His words falling around her as she belatedly translated them.
It took her a moment to reply.
She smiled. She'd always wanted to see Ancient Eypgt.
A/N 2: Dja – ancient Eypgtian spear/javelin.
